Congress minister tears into ex CM for patting back of Akali Dal
Senior Badal should come clear on which one of his two statements given within a fortnight is to be trusted
Akali veteran a traitor to both Sikhs & farmers riding on whose back he became CM five times
Chandigarh, September 20:
Senior Congress leader and Cabinet Minister S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa today teared into ex CM Parkash Singh Badal questioning him as to why the latter kept mum when the farm ordinances were passed in the presence of Harsimrat Kaur Badal as the Union Minister before applauding her resignation drama as sacrifice.
The Congress leader also owes an explanation as to when the close allies SAD and BJP would part ways because the SAD is still a part of BJP led NDA which brought anti farmer ordinances.
Pointing out further, S. Randhawa said that it would have been better if the SAD Patron had cared to clarify before patting his party on the back as to which one of his statements given within a span of fortnight is to be believed by the people of Punjab. The Senior Badal who sang peans to the ordinances 15 days before had taken a u-turn like his son and daughter in law and started opposing the ordinances, revealed Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
The minister also averred that Parkash Singh Badal is a traitor to both Sikhs as well as farmers riding whose back he occupied Chief Minister’s chair five times. The tenure of Badal saw the sacrilege of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji followed by the firing on unarmed Sikh Sangat, said Congress leader also elaborating that the farm ordinances were brought to the fore when SAD was holding ministerial position in the Union Cabinet. The people of Punjab would never forgive the Badal’s for committing this treachery.
