‘VIKAS KRANTI’ IN BATHINDA AS BHAGWANT SINGH MANN AND ARVIND KEJRIWAL KICK OFF / ANNOUNCED/ LAID FOUNDATION STONE OF DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WORTH RS 1125 CRORE IN MALWA HEARTLAND

WORKS AIMED AT TRANSFORMING BATHINDA PARLIAMENTARY SEGMENT BY GIVING FILLIP TO ITS DEVELOPMENT

Maur (Bathinda), December 17-

In order to give impetus to the development of Bathinda Parliamentary segment, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday kicked off/ announced/ laid foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 1125 crore thereby ushering a new era of ‘Vikas Kranti’.

The Chief Minister and Delhi Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a new ultra modern bus stand of Bathinda to come up at a cost of Rs 100 crore. Similarly, they announced Railway Over Bridges at Multania and Janta Nagar along with that in Amarpura Basti at a cost of Rs 88.94 crore and Rs 49.15 crore. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also kicked off work for construction of Ring Road at Bathinda over a cost of Rs 94.11 crore to streamline the traffic.

Both the Chief Ministers also laid the foundation stone for the work to recarpet Malot-Badal road at a cost of Rs 12.78 crore. They also gifted a multipurpose auditorium in Bathinda at a cost of Rs 27.15 crore. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also kicked off the work for construction of 50 bedded Critical Care Unit (CCU) Civil Hospital in Bathinda at a cost of Rs 15.61 crore.

Both the Chief Ministers also laid the foundation stone of various works being executed by the Soil and Water conservation department at a cost of Rs 6.87 crore. They also kicked off work for construction of Building of Sub Tehsil in Goniana Mandi at a cost of Rs 2.99 crore. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also gifted projects worth Rs 20.07 crore water supply and sewerage in Talwandi Sabo and Rama.

Both the Chief Ministers also gifted 30 bedded Mother Child Hospital at Talwandi Sabo over a cost of Rs 6.62 crore. They also presented a gift of Rs 5.98 crore to construct a new building of Sub Division Talwandi Sabo. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also laid the foundation stone of construction of Sewerage Treatment Plant at Maur over a cost of Rs 23.91 crore.

Both the Chief Ministers also kicked off work for construction of building of Sub Tehsil Balianwali at a cost of Rs 2.30 crore. They also gifted the work of construction of Water Supply and Sewerage projects in Nathana at a cost of Rs 29.09 crore. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also laid foundation stone for construction of building of Sub Tehsil Nathana over a cost of Rs 2.76 crore.

          Both the Chief Ministers also announced a project worth Rs 14.96 crore to make arrangements to facilitate the farmers for storage of Potatoes. They also laid the foundation stone of construction of a new building of the Sub Divisional office at Rampura Phull at a cost of Rs 7.51 crore. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also announced to set up a C-PYTE project of Employment generation, Skill Development and Training department worth Rs 25.69 crore to come up at Borowal.    

Both the Chief Ministers also laid the foundation stone of a project to widen Budhlada-Sunam road at a cost of Rs 4.26 crore. They also gifted the project of construction of senior citizens in Mansa at a cost of Rs 6.93 crore. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also presented a Government ITI centre at Dhaipi over a cost of Rs 6.42 crore to make youth self reliant by imparting technical training to them.

Both the Chief Ministers also gifted Rs 2.65 crore project regarding the repair and renovation of several roads by Punjab Mandi Board in Mansa. They also laid the foundation stone of construction of roads between Sardulgarh-Mansa-Rodi at a cost of Rs 20.92 crore. They also announced different works worth Rs 39.96 crore for the Water Resources department.

Both the Chief Ministers also laid the foundation stone of work of installing interlocking tiles on both sides of the road in Lambi at a cost of 0.94 crore. They also gifted various projects worth Rs 0.68 crore pertaining to the health department. Apart from this both Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also kicked off the work to upgrade the sewerage system across the state at a cost of Rs 573 crore.
