Chandigarh, September 22
UT reported four more deaths and 266 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
With this, the death toll has risen to 127 and total corona cases to 10,546. There are as many as 2622 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 61-year-old male, r/o Dhanas, a case of ARDS, Diabetes Mellitus, tested COVID positive, expired at GMSH-16 on Monday. A 48-year-old male, r/o Sector 52, a case of B/L Pneumonitis, tested COVID positive, expired at GMSH-16 on Tuesday. A 26-year-old male, r/o Sector 35, a case of metabolic encephalopathy, Paroxysmal nocturnal hemogolobinuria and acute kidney injury, tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Monday. A 50-year-old male r/o Sector 37, tested COVID positive, expired at Grecian Hospital, Mohali on Monday.
The new infection cases have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 383 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
