Chandigarh, September 11
UT reported three more deaths and 305 new coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 83 and infection cases to 7292.
A medical bulletin issued by the Administration said, a 68-year old male r/o Sector 48, a known case of Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and chronic kidney disease, tested COVID positive. He expired at Grecian Hospital, Mohali on Thursday. An 83 year-old female r/o sector 32, who had a history of Type 2Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension tested COVID positive, expired due to cardiac arrest atGrecian Hospital, Mohali today. A 59-year-old male r/o sector 50, a case ofType 2Diabetes Mellitus and hypertension, tested COVID positive expired at GMCH-32 on Thursday.
Meanwhile, a total of 269 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic as per MoHFW guidelines.
