According to a medical bulletin issued by the administration, a 58-year-old male, r/o Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, a case of alcoholic liver disease with pancreatitis, COVID positive on last Wednesday expired due to acute kidney injury, pneumonitis and refectory shock at PGIMER today. The second death related to an 84-year old male r/o Sector 22, Chandigarh, a known case of coronary artery disease with PTCA, hypertension, Type 2debates mellitus, chronic kidney disease, tested COVID positive, expired due to acute respiratory distress syndrome with cardiorespiratory arrest at Mayo Hospital, Mohali on Thursday.
Meanwhile, 130 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals.
