Chandigarh, May 11
UT recorded 10 more deaths and 787 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. The number of active cases of the infection stands at 8625.
The death toll in Chandigarh now has climbed to 585 while the caseload has increased to 51857.
According to a media bulletin, those who succumbed to coronavirus fell in the age group of 21 and 83. The new cases of infection were reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 805 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
