Chandigarh 1 Aug Felicitation ceremony, PILLARS OF MEDICAL SCIENCES was organised at a hotel in Chandigarh in collaboration with the Government of Punjab, Department of Health & Family Welfare for accrediting the medical combatants who have been serving the healthcare industry from long with their indefatigable spirit especially during COVID-19 Crisis .
Health Minister Balbir Sidhu thanked medical faternity for helping common man during pandemic selflessly. The idea and the conceptualization behind the felicitation was to recognize the monumental efforts of Doctors,, pharmaceuticals, medical schools and social activist.
The event had both private and government doctors who have shared some astounding profiles , said organisers Gopal Arora, Krishan Arora, Sajan Sharma . The profiles were scrutinised, screened and selected by Jury , Atul Kumar Nasa (Head of Office, Controlling & Licensing Authority/ Deputy Drug Controller).
The awardees were selected on various criteria like their qualifications, CSR Activities, service during COVID, publications/ researchers and so on.More than 100 doctors including Govt Medical Officers and Doctors of Amnadeep Hospital were among other renowned doctors.
