Chandigarh, December 20
UT reported two more deaths and 29 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 308 while the caseload has increased to 19,073. There are as many as 437 active cases of the pandemic.
According to a medical bulletin issued here on Sunday, a 50-year-old COVID positive male r/o Manimajra, a case of Acute Kidney Injury, Chronic smoker and Chronic alcoholic, has expired at GMCH 32.
The second case related to a 54-year-old COVID positive male R/o Dadu Majra, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, who expired at, PGIMER.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, A total of 84patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
