Chandigarh, October 15
Death toll in UT due to coronavirus crossed the 200-mark on Thursday. The city two more deaths and 83 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. The caseload has now increased 13, 477. The figure includes 1044 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin, a 43 year-old Male R/o Khuda Alisher, a case of Acute Chronic Kidney Disease, who tested COVID positive expired at PGIMER on Thursday. A 66-year-old male R/o Sector 47, a case of Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, who tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH 32 on Wednesday.
The fresh cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 113 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
