UT reported two more deaths and 82 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 250 and the caseload to 15, 886. There as many as 1,052 active cases of infection.
According to a medial bulletin issued by the Administration, a 50-year-old male R/o Mauli Jagran, a case of Chronic Kidney Disease, Haemophilia and Chronic Hepatitis-C, who tested covid positive, expired at PGIMER. In the second case, a 56-year-old female R/o Ramdarbar, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, who tested covid positive, expired at GMCH 32.
New cases of the pandemic have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 116 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
