Farmers can register tractors from IDs of Dealers or RTO/SDMs

Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government has provided big relief to the farmers of the state as it allowed the registration of TREM-III standard tractors up till June 30.
Transport Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar made this announcement during a meeting with representatives of the Tractor Dealers Association at his office here, emphasizing that the state government is committed for improving the economic condition of the farmers besides ensuring their well-being and addressing all their concerns.
He informed that the registration of TREM-III standard tractors was suspended in the state due to the conditions imposed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, which were causing losses to farmers and dealers.
The Cabinet Minister stated that now farmers and dealers can register TREM-III standard tractors up till 30th June. He added that dealers can apply for registration through their IDs and in case where the dealer’s ID is not available, registration can be done through the IDs of RTO/SDM.
