UT reported three more deaths and 148 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 172 while the number of patients found positive has climbed to 12,360. The figure includes 1792 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin issued here on Saturday, a 43-year-old male R/o Hallomajra, a case of Coronary Artery Disease, POST PCI, Dilated Cardiomyopathy, tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH-32, on Friday. A 32-year-old male R/o Dhanas, a case of Chronic Liver Disease, Acute Kidney Injury, Necrotising Fasciitis, tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Saturday. A 70-year-old female R/o Sector 61, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, CABG, tested COVID positive, has expired at GMCH-32 on Saturday.
The fresh cases of coronavirus were reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 234patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
