The renowned Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi came up with a patriotic song along with the singer Nobby Singh on the occasion of Independence Day.
The song, ‘AZAADI – The Independence’ was launched on Jassi’s own Youtube Music Channel JJ Musics and the song was presented by Zikki Media. Coming to the credits, the song is penned down by Jassi himself and sung by him feat Nobby. The music is given by Simba Singh & Jerry Singh
The artists said today India celebrates its 75th Independence Day. We all have special memories of the national holiday growing up- flag hoisting in school, I-Day functions, special play enactment, special commemorative food, singing the national anthem together and most importantly, expressing gratitude towards our freedom fighters and their undying spirit. Meanwhile, we decided to dedicate a song to our country so came up with ‘Azaadi – The Independence’ song. We hope people will like it.
Jassi further said, “India’s struggle for freedom from British rule was long and had cost too many lives. Many freedom fighters and leaders dedicated their whole life to this struggle. Therefore, this day is observed every year to celebrate our freedom and acknowledge the sacrifices and efforts of the people who fought for it.
