The Rubicon and Barclays organizations organized a three days’ workshop here at SGT University on Friday to inculcate among students basics for better placement.
The motto of this workshop was “Connect with Work”
Non-Medical students of the varsity participated in the workshop. From the faculty of Engineering, Management, Sciences, Fashion, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Mass Communication also participated in this workshop.
Several experts and trainers, spoke about the challenges fresher’s may face during their work, beside that they also told about Organizational Structure, Public Speaking, Presentation Skills, E-Mail Etiquette, Grooming, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
So the students come to know about the basics before getting better job opportunities and a better placement in any organization.
Rubicon’s “Life skills” Program, supported by Barclays aims at improving the employability skills of the youths. This initiative is supported by Barclays. Under this program, students got Corporate Trainers to enhance their Life skills which help them significantly to increase their chance of succeeding in a job interview.
During their Life Skills program, the experts of Rubicon, supported by Barclays, organized classroom training on Interview Skills of Organizational Structure. Experts said that their work is to making arrangement like industry visit of students to various organizations, Post Placement Mentoring and Career Counselling support to place students for one year.
