Chairperson announces during visit to Phase 8 Mohali Women Cell

Raj Lali Gill, Chairperson of the Punjab State Commission for Women, has announced plans for a statewide visit to women cells across Punjab. She revealed these plans during her visit to the Phase 8 Women Cell in Mohali.
During her visit, Gill had detailed discussions with the staff of the women cell about the various cases and complaints being handled. She also collected data on daily reports and interacted with complainants waiting outside the cell.
Additionally, Mrs. Gill visited the Sanjh Kendra, where discussions focused on awareness programs. She stated that these visits aim to ensure that these facilities are adequately equipped to handle cases and complaints effectively.

Chairperson Raj Lali Gill announced that the statewide visits will commence soon, with inspections and interactions planned with key personnel at each women cell. The Commission aims to foster transparency and accountability in its efforts to protect and empower women in the state.
