Chandigarh, April 29, 2021: Punjab government has declared May 1, 2021 as gazetted holiday on the occasion of 400th birthday of Guru Teg Bahadur ji . The holiday has also been notified under Negotiable Instrument Act 1881 which means banks and other commercial establishments would also remain closed.
