Fazilka, July 18, 2024: In a significant move to boost the income of farmers in the state, the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has initiated a project to promote tomato and red chili farming in the Fazilka district. Punjab Agro already has a juice factory in Abhor, Fazilka, to process tomatoes and red chilies, which will be exported to countries where there is a high demand for these products.
