The Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, continues to prioritize the welfare of its employees, ensuring timely promotions. In a significant move, 10 Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) from the Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development have been promoted to District Program Officers (DPOs).
Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur shared the announcement, stating that the long-standing demand for the promotion of CDPOs has now been fulfilled. She emphasized the Government’s unwavering commitment to addressing the needs and aspirations of its employees.
While congratulating the newly promoted officers, Dr. Baljit Kaur urged them to uphold the highest standards of dedication and integrity in their work. “This department plays a crucial role in the welfare of various sections of society. It is, therefore, imperative that they perform their duties with a spirit of service,” she remarked.
Notably, among the 10 District Program Officers promoted, one officer belongs to a Schedule Caste, reflecting the Government’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity.
