Chandigarh, April 18, 2021: Punjab recorded 68 deaths and added 4957 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as per the state bulletin on Sunday.
With 68 deaths on Sunday, the death toll in Punjab reached 7902.
The total infection in the state has reached 300038 and the total active cases in the state are 34190.
As per the district-wise break-up of 68 deaths, 11 died in Amritsar, 2 in Barnala, Bathinda-1, Faridkot-2, Fatehgarh Sahib-2, Fazilka-3, Gurdaspur-9, Hoshiarpur-2, Jalandhar-4, Kapurthala-3, Ludhiana-5. Mansa-1, Moga-1, SAS Nagar-5, Pathankot-1, Patiala-7, Ropar-6, Tarn-Taran-3.
