Chandigarh, October 11
UT recorded one more death and 85 fresh cases of coronavirus on Sunday. This has pushed the death toll to 191 and the total number of cases of the contagion to 13, 162. There are as many as 1184 active cases.
A medical bulletin issued here said a 34-year male R/o Sector 50, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, who tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH on Friday.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 125 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
