Chandigarh, December 11
UT reported one more death and 92 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. The death toll in the city now stands at 299 while the caseload has increased to 18,502. There are as many as 818 active cases of the pandemic.
According to a medical bulletin issued here by the Administration, an 88-year-old Covid positive male r/o Sector 43, a case of Hypertension and Coronary Artery Disease has expired at Grecian Hospital, Mohali.
Fresh cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 134 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
