Chandigarh, October 29
A 21-year-old female r/o Sector 25, a case of Chronic Kidney Disease, who tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Thursday, taking the death toll in UT due to the infection to 225.
As many as 80 fresh cases of infection were reported in different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it during the past 24 hours. With this, the caseload has risen to 14,292 including 665 active cases.
Meanwhile, a total of 43 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
