Chandigarh, October 27
UT recorded one more death and 67 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
With this, the death toll has risen to 223 and the caseload of infection to 14,152. The figure includes 650 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin issued here on Tuesday, a 30-year-old male r/o Burail, a case of head injury, who tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Monday.
Fresh cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 49 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
