Chandigarh, February 3-UT recorded one more death and 36 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday. The number of active infection cases is 186.
The city has so far recorded 336 deaths due to coronavirus while the caseload has increased to 21015.
According to a media bulletin issued here by the Administration, a 59-year-old COVID positive male R/o Sector 27, a case of hypertension and stroke, has expired at GMCH-32.
The new cases covid have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 31 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
