Chandigarh, January 2
UT recorded one more death and 29 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. There as many as 320 active cases of the infection in the city.
With this, the death toll in Chandigarh has now risen to 319 while the total caseload has risen to 19, 865.
According to a media bulletin issued by the Administration, a 83-year-old COVID positive male R/o Sector 51, a case of Hypertension and Acute Kidney Injury has expired at GMCH 32.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 117 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
