Coronavirus claimed one more life and infection as many as 150 persons in UT during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 255 and the case load to 16,472. There are 1121 active cases of the infection.
According to as medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 40-year-old male R/o Sector 25, a case of type 2 diabetes mellitus and pulmonary tuberculosis, who tested COVID positive, has expired at PGIMER.
Most of the cases of fresh infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 133 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
