Chandigarh, November 18
UT logged one more death and as many as 145 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The death toll in the city stands at 253 and caseload at 16,167. There are 1081 active cases of the pandemic.
According to a medial bulletin issued here, a 65-year-old male R/o Sector 46, a case of SARI, who tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH 32. The new cases of pandemic have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 89 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
