Chandigarh, December 18
UT reported one more death and 74 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 305 while the caseload has increased to 18, 979.
There are as many as 535 active cases of the pandemic.
According to a bulletin issued here by the Administration on Friday, a 76-year-old Covid positive female r/o Sector 15, a case of Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, has expired at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
New cases of the infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 122 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
