Chandigarh, December 12
UT recorded one more death and 70 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has touched the 300-mark while the caseload has increased to 18, 572. There as many as 815 active cases of the infection.
According to a medical bulletin issued here on Saturday, a 47-year-old Covid positive female r/o Sector 47, a case of Severe Acute Respiratory Infection, expired at GMCH-32. New cases of the pandemic have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 92 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
