Chandigarh, December 13
UT recorded one more death and 66 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. The death toll in the city has now climbed to 301 while the caseload has increased to 18,638. There are 766 active cases of the pandemic.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the administration, a 75-year-old Covid positive male R/o Sector 29, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension has expired at GMCH-32 during the past 24 hours.
New cases of coronavirus were reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 114 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
