Chandigarh, January 8
UT reported the death of one more patients and 54 new cases of coronavirus on Friday. The caseload in the city now stands at 20,201 while the death toll has risen to 326. There are as many as 238 active cases of the infection.
According to a media bulletin issued here, an 82-year-old Covid positive male R/o Sector 38 West, a case of Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, has expired at PGIMER.
Meanwhile, a total of 55patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
