Chandigarh reported one more death and 43 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The death toll has now risen to 321 and the caseload to 19.936. There are as many as 267 active cases of infection.
According to a media bulletin issued here the Administration, a 45-year-old COVID positive male R/o Manimajra, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Chronic Kidney Disease expired at Shalby Hospital, Mohali.
The new cases of the infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 68 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines
