Chandigarh, January 12
UT recorded one more death and 36 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. The death toll in the city now stands at 328 and the caseload at 20,378.
There are as many as 270 active cases of infection.
According to a media bulletin, a 76-year-old COVID positive female R/o Sector 44, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Hypertension, expired at PGIMER.
New cases of infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages around it.
Meanwhile, a total of24patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
