Chandigarh, April 5, 2021:
Chandigarh reported 285 new covid-19 positive cases on Monday. One death due to covid was also reported in the last 24 hours.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 3,062.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 2,104 samples. As per the figure, 384 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to Covid-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 28,479.

COVID Death:-
- An 85 year old COVID positive Female R/o Manimajra, a case of Hypertension and Coronary Artery Disease, expired at GMSH-16.
Discharged Patients:-
- A total of 372 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
