Chandigarh, February 9
UT logged one more death due to coronavirus on Tuesday, taking the tally to 341. Twenty six fresh cases of the infection were reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the caseload in the city has risen 21,113.
There as any as 169 active cases of coronavirus.
According to a media bulletin issued here, a 55-year-old COVID positive male R/o Sector-40, a case of Type-2 Respiratory Failure and Hypertension, expired at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
New cases of the pandemic have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages around it.
Meanwhile, a total of 25 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
