– Implemented many poll guarantees in the first year

Chandigarh, February 15:
Punjab Revenue and Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa on Monday said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has done extraordinary works in 11 months while even 11% of work couldn’t be achieved by the successive governments during their regime. He said that the previous governments used to only befool people of Punjab in initials months after the elections but the Mann government started working from the very first day and even fulfilled many poll guarantees to the people of Punjab.
Jimpa said that under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, guarantees like free electricity, Aam Aadmi Clinic, farmer welfare, international training to teachers, reasonable and affordable Sand, employment opportunities for youth, dignity of martyrs and corruption free governance and many other schemes have been implemented within 11 months after forming the government. He said that the Punjab government is also making diligent efforts to fulfill the remaining guarantees. He said that the Mann government is committed to the welfare of every section and we are moving towards making the state again as Rangla Punjab.
He further said that more job opportunities are being created in the state and more government jobs are being created to pull the youth out of the mire of drugs menace and to prevent them from going abroad. He said that more than 26,100 government jobs have been given in the last 11 months.
He further said that providing health, education and governance is the priority of the Mann government. While the standard of living of the people of Punjab is increasing by providing good health facilities and excellent education, the reputation/goodwill of the state has increased by making the administration transparent and free from corruption. He said that new investors are showing interest in setting up more industries in the state. Jimpa said that due to the good intentions and honest governance by the Mann government, Punjab will soon touch new heights of development.
