Ludhiana, July 27, 2020: 22 Ludhiana police personnel tested positive for coronavirus today. 54 were already positive till yesterday so now total active positive cases of ludhiana police are 76. Apart from this 31 police officials have recovered so far.
SHO of division no 3 alongwith 4 other officials of this police station have been tested positive. Similarly 4 police persons of division number 8 police station have been tested positive. Two officials of CP office have been tested positive were involved in public dealing.
Due to this large number, police has temporary closed down public dealing work for 3 days in CP office, police station division number 3 Ludhiana and police station division number 8 Ludhiana except in case of extreme emergency.
These places are thoroughly being sanitized and testing of all contact persons being done. The other police persons who might have come in contact with these positive police persons have been advised to self quarantine themselves and get them tested.

Till such time other routine work of police station division number 8 will be done from police station division Sadar Ludhiana and routine work of police station division number 3 will be done from police station division number 1 Ludhiana.
