Chandigarh, March 10:
Sh. Jasvir Singh Garhi today took charge as the Chairperson of the Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Garhi reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding the rights and interests of Scheduled Castes in Punjab. He stated that the Commission would work proactively to ensure justice, welfare, and empowerment of the SC community in the state.
The event was attended by Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi, Chairman of Punjab State Container & Warehousing Corporation, Jasvir Singh Auliapur, Gurlal Saila, Punjab Chairman Navjot Singh Jarg GENCO, Dr Jaspreet Bijja, O.P. Chopra, President of Sri Gurdas Sabha, Employees Union leader Harnek Chunni; President Ravi Inder Bikka; JE Rajinder Kumar, Harjot Rikki; Sukhwinder Lakha, Leader of BR Ambedkar Sabha Mohali, Gurdeep Kaur, Anil Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Malkit Sampla, Dr Vikram Singh Honney, Jabir Singh Aujala, MC Parvinder Kumar, Jaswant Toor, Raj Bhadur, Joint Secretary and Senior officials from the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, along with other dignitaries, were also present.
