Harish Monga has come with another title – “Frankly Speaking-Silence too speaks” – a compilation of his published and unpublished. His earlier book titled “Frankly Speaking-Feeling sometimes is not a reality” was heartily welcomed by the readers with a smile on their faces just the way he himself is welcomed by people wherever he goes.
This collection of articles is also full of wit and humour with its catchy titles and certain left to the reader to guess with a dotted line, gathered from day-to-day personal experiences which help broaden the horizon of one’s knowledge and meet new characters hitherto unknown to us. When the reader starts any of the articles, each paragraph of the article creates curiosity to know its ending. Really, it’s a pool of remarkable through the process, unstoppable reading gives minute details of those thoughts which generally we feel, say, and recall.
Each article, with a catchy title, has its own story ending with ‘Frankly Speaking’ with the author’s observation based on his personal, social, and service experiences. The author has tried to co-relate each of his articles with one or the other, say a mixture of light-hearted anecdotes of his life, to make it more interesting for the readers, by making it informative, educative and message able, with an eloquent ending.
Frankly Speaking, book is a compilation of eighty-nine articles; each one of five minutes reading with the tag line – Silence Too Speaks – conveys a lot that when words can’t, when words fail, when you feel your words are better than silence. These articles display his love for sharing his silence in the world of words by retaining a strong relationship between author and reader.
Silence Too Speaks actually speaks a lot penned by the author and many would like to listen to their solitude with candid remarks.
Harish Monga, the author has written with a passion, in his own style in a well-spoken language which itself speaks of being close to ground realities of life. He doesn’t feel guilty about writing a book as the reader’s decision after reading the book is always good for the author and feels pleasure in asking – Do I have anything in this or not?
