Four more death, 109 new COVID-19 cases in Bathinda

Bathinda, September 16: Four Covid-19 deaths and 109 new cases were reported from the Bathinda district on Wednesday even as 84 patients have been discharged from various hospitals in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 80. Taking the district total to 4467 about 1034 cases are active, and 584 cases have been shifted to other districts. 2769 petients have been cured and discharged. The Deputy Commissioner B Srinivasan informed that sincere efforts are being made to keep people safe from COVID-19. He said that till date, a total of 47939 samples have been taken in the district under COVID-19, out of which a total of 4467 positive cases have been reported, out of which 2769 Corona victims have recovered and returned home. The Deputy Commissioner further said that in the last 24 hours, 550 negative and 84 corona affected patients returned home after recovery.
