CHANDIGARH, December 8:
The admission process for the 15th Course at the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) in Mohali has started and interested students can submit their applications online till December 22, 2024, by visiting https://recruitment-portal.in.
Sharing this information today, the Director of the Institute, Major General (Retd.) Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM, informed that the entrance examination will be conducted on January 12, 2025. He said that all students in Class 10th who wish to join the NDA through MRSAFPI should apply for the new course. Additionally, students currently in Class 11th can also apply, but they will only be admitted to Class 11th if they meet the age criteria. The eligibility criteria is available on the Institute’s website at https://www.afpipunjab.org.
Highlighting the achievements of the Institute, he mentioned that a total of 238 cadets have joined various Service Training Academies since the inception of the Institute, and 160 alumni have been commissioned as officers in the Defence Services to date. The results of Maharaja Ranjit Singh AFPI are among the highest in India. He encouraged students aspired to become defence officers to apply for the new course at MRSAFPI.
