On CM’s instructions, the Chief Secretary asks officers to ensure compliance

On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Chief Secretary Anurag Verma has directed that all departments of the state should ensure promotion of the officers and employees, due for it, within two months.
In a letter to the all Administrative Secretaries, Head of Departments, All Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners, the Chief Secretary said that the due promotions of the officers and employees should be done within two months by following the stipulated rules and instructions. The Chief Secretary has asked to ensure strict compliance of these instructions.
