Social security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur celebrated the New Year by distributing blankets to slums at Malout.
Dr. Baljit Kaur felt the suffering of poor in winter season and said that in the winter season while we live comfortably in our homes, the slum dwellers suffer in biting cold. She distributed warm blankets to the slum dwellers in Malout.
Cabinet Minister said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously striving to serve the people of the state. Accordingly, blankets were distributed to the needy people living in huts in Malout today to protect them from extreme winter.
