Chandigarh, Director of Health Services (DHS) and Chandigarh and Child Friendly City Initiative (CFCI), Chandigarh formally started their collaboration to provide the health rights of children hailing from Chandigarh. Cementing this partnership, Children from Child Parliaments under the aegis of CFCI handed over to 150 five liters cans of sanitizers, 25 PPE kits, 1000 normal masks and 100 N95 masks to the office of DHS at the Multi Specialty Government Hospital at Sector 16, Chandigarh. This relief material will be further distributed to deprived children. Children requested the Director Dr. GS Dewan to have more medical camps in different parts of Chandigarh for children.
Dr. Sangeetha, Nodal Officer, NHM further revealed that DHS in collaboration with CFCI will be organizing 25 medical checkup camps which are exclusively scheduled for children. The camps will be conducted in Govt dispensaries.

David Minz, Assistant Director, DBNS, Neha Nahar, Project Manager, CFCI, Ranjeet, Coordinator CFCI, Ankita and Jyoti from Kalpana Chawala Child Parliament, Indra Colony.
