• More than 12 lakh govt school students attends online classes

Digital Mode of learning initiated by Punjab School Education Department during winter’s holiday, scripted history with massive response.
Disclosing this here today, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the department has initiated online classes during winter break in consonance with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Government’s commitment to prepare students for competitive world. He informed that the initiative got massive response from students across the state.
Mr. Bains further said that the Punjab Government had extended vacations in view of harsh weather conditions. “During these vacations the department has started online classes through various social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube from December 30,2022 so that learning process of students would remain constant. This step obtained enormous response from students as well as teachers. More than 12 lakh Students attended classes conducted through digital mode till date,” he added.
Mr. Bains said that this move is aimed to keep students of Board Classes in constant touch with their syllabus. He asserted this move proved a big success and parents of students heartily appreciated the gesture.
Divulging further, the Cabinet Minister informed that the department is organising online lectures in the morning and evening daily with the help of expert teachers.
It is worth mentioning here that the School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains personally monitoring the preparation of board classes students thereby higher grades of students could be ensured.
