Revenue collection should be ensured on time – Aashika Jain
Orders to complete the demarcation of the red line as soon as possible

Deputy Commissioner Ms. Ashika Jain has directed the officials of the Revenue Department to dispose of all pending mutation cases in the district by May 31, 2023.
While reviewing the work of the Revenue Department during a meeting at the Local Administrative Complex here today, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officials to make the entire work of mutations online instead of manual, so that people can receive their mutation documents on time. She also asked the authorities to take strict action against the employees who do not follow the instructions.
Taking the pending recovery/collection of revenue department seriously, Ms. Aashika Jain also ordered to ensure timely collection of all types of revenue. Meanwhile, she set the revenue collection targets for the officials and asked them to achieve these targets.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also ordered to complete the demarcation of the red line in the villages as soon as possible so that the people can get ownership rights. Meanwhile, she also reviewed civic services, infrastructure projects and road safety work. She asked for quick settlement of the pending cases of revenue courts, Zamanbandi, Nishandehi, Taksim. Ms. Aashika Jain asked the officials to take other pending cases of the revenue department seriously and issued orders to settle these pending cases within the stipulated time. She said that people should not face any kind of difficulty regarding the work of the department and all the work should be done within time.
During the meeting, the cases of compensation amount of the acquired land for roads were also seriously considered. The Deputy Commissioner directed to release the compensation of the acquired land and speed up the process of taking possession.
The Deputy Commissioner has also directed the officials to check the records of Patwaris from time to time. She also asked the authorities to provide maximum online facilities to the people so that people can available facilities quickly and easily.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Mrs. Amaninder Kaur Brar informed the Deputy Commissioner about the status of various projects.
During this meeting, SDM Mohali Sarbjit Kaur, SDM Kharar Ravinder Singh, SDM Derabassi Himanshu Gupta, District Revenue Officer and other officials of Revenue Department were also present.
