Chandigarh, August 20
The coronavirus cases in UT crossed the 2,500-mark on Thursday with the city reporting the highest surge of 119 cases in 24 hours. The figure includes 1092 active cases and the grand total climbing to 2515.
Most of the cases have been reported in different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, 39 patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals in the city.
