SHARES GRIEF WITH THE DISTRESSED FAMILY

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Naik Kuldeep Singh who sacrificed his life in line of duty, during his posting in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chief Minister said that Naik Kuldeep Singh had attained martyrdom while performing his duty at Mukerian. He said that the state government is solidly with the aggrieved family in this hour of crisis. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the supreme sacrifice made by the brave heart will ever inspire the younger generations to make selfless sacrifices for the country.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that the state government is duty bound to help the families of these brave soldiers who sacrifice their life at the altar of the motherland. He said that all sort of assistance to family of martyr is in consonance with the commitment of the state government to ensure the well being of the soldiers (from Armed forces, paramilitary and Police) and their families. Bhagwant Singh Mann hoped that this humble initiative by the state will go a long way in helping the aggrieved family on one hand and securing their future on the other.
