Chandigarh, January 5
UT recorded one more death and 41 fresh cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. The death toll now stands at 322 while the caseload has crosses the 20, 000-mark.
There are as many as 240 cases of the pandemic.
According to an official announcement, a 45-year-old COVID positive female R/o Maloya, a case of SARI, Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension has expired at GMCH-32. The new cases of the infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 116patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
