Chandigarh, February 2,
UT recorded one more death and 22 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. With this, the death toll has risen to 335 while the caseload has increased to 20, 979. There are as many as 183 active cases of the infection.
Neighbouring Mohali logged three more deaths and 19 positive cases of coronavirus in 24 hours.
According to a media bulletin issued here, an 80 year old COVID positive female R/o Sector 45, a case of Septic Shock with Multiple Organ Dysfunction has expired at GMCH-32.
The new cases of the infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding.
Meanwhile, a total of 15 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
